Shuttle services will be provided for three different ending points! Participants in the float now have the option to take a 5.5 mile float6.5 mile float,or a 10 mile float. The first ending point is the MonPower building (recommended for most). The second ending point is the Gassaway Dairy Queen. The third ending point, located just outside of Gassaway on Route 4, will be at Sugar Creek Church. The Elk River is calm water, perfect for leisure paddlers or beginners. However, beginners are encouraged to use the first or second stop in the float. Ten miles on the river is a workout and should only be attempted by experienced paddlers who are accustomed to this distance. When registering please specify which ending point you intend to use.

Parking for stop 1 (MonPower) is provided by MonPower in their parking lot. Please park as near the river as possible and only on the right side of the lot near the grass. No double parking allowed.

Parking for stop 2 (Gassaway Dairy Queen) is provided at the Church of Christ in Gassaway, just across the bridge from the Dairy Queen. Please do not park in Dairy Queen's parking spaces as their parking is limited and will be needed for their regular customers throughout the day.

Parking for stop 3 (Sugar Creek Church) will be available at the Sugar Creek Church as well as along the road. Please take care in not blocking others' vehicles.

A shuttle bus will be waiting at each take-out parking location starting at 9 AM.
