EXCELLENT THEATRE
Braxton County is home to an extraordinary community theatre, The Landmark Studio for the Arts. The Landmark Studio for the Arts was founded and incorporated in 1988 as a non profit corporation in order to promote the Arts in Braxton County, West Virginia. The Landmark directs the visual and performing arts activities for the community and schools. It is located in a converted historic Victorian era church on Main Street in Sutton, West Virginia. It is also home to the West Virginia Landmark Players.

Elk Theatre is located in downtown Sutton. The one-screen marquis theatre, with a seating capacity of 252, shows current movie releases each weekend. For movies and showtimes, call 304-765-2519.
Bulltown also hosts Civil War Battle Reenactments of the Battle of Bulltown. CIVIL WAR REENACTMENT: Reenactment of the Battle of Bulltown October 8 & 9, 2005 All cabins will be open for touring, as well as the battle itself.

The new outdoor Mountain Lakes Amphitheater is under construction and will have its grand opening on May 20, 2006. Easy access from highway I-79, Exit 67, located at the Flatwoods RV Park behind the Days Hotel.
